Design Philosophy

molo’s products emerge from in-depth material research and a holistic approach to sustainability. Inspired by the idea that life is dynamic and that our surroundings should be able to adapt, molo creates designs that are both functional and aesthetically appealing.

Product Range

softwall + softblock are flexible, freestanding partitions that can easily be shaped into various configurations to define and redefine space. They are lightweight, acoustically dampening, and can be folded down in seconds for convenient storage.

cloud softlight is a sculptural lighting solution that creates atmospheric and ambient illumination with its unique, cloud-like form. The beautiful lights are available as individual pendants, pendants suspended as mobiles, and as mobiles suspended from a balanced mast structure.

The soft collection includes, as a third product group, foldable seating furniture and tables that combine functionality with aesthetics. The furniture is lightweight, strong, and easily adaptable as interior needs change.

Sustainability

molo’s designs are created with a focus on both environmental and functional sustainability. The products are manufactured using recycled and recyclable materials such as FSC®-certified paper and calendared polyethylene fibres. A carefully engineered honeycomb structure also makes molo’s solutions lightweight and strong, reducing material consumption and making them compact during transport. In addition, flexibility contributes to long-term functional durability.

Applications

molo’s products are ideal for a wide range of environments, including offices, restaurants, museums, retail spaces, and private homes. The flexible design makes it possible to adapt interiors to changing needs and creates dynamic, functional environments.

Grape x molo

Grape is proud to have been involved almost from the very beginning. Since 2005, molo and Grape have quite literally grown up together. We are, in many ways, part of the family. Despite the great geographical distance, molo and Grape share the same soft values around design and space. Something truly special therefore also happens when molo’s soft products are combined with Grape’s own designs. Grape represents molo in Denmark, Norway, and Sweden.
