cantilever folding table

designed by Stephanie Forsythe and Todd MacAllen for molo
FromDKK Call ex. VAT

cantilever table was designed with collaborative workspaces and events in mind. The flat-pack base uses flexible honeycomb geometry to fan open and connect to itself via magnetic end panels. The bases are made from kraft paper or Tyvek®, and often paired with a tabletop made from Carrara marble, Corian® or a sustainable, engineered wood.

cantilever table - round top

The round table, an inherently democratic shape, is a place to share ideas. A glass centrepiece doubles as a pencil holder and spindle for a stack of sketching circles. The sheets revolve around the centrepiece as thoughts are passed and developed. When used for a dining table, the circles and centrepiece can be removed or used as a flower vase.

cantilever table - modular top

A folding table that expands from flat-pack to almost any length, cantilever table is ideal for conferences, events and exhibitions. Each base uses flexible honeycomb geometry to compress for storage, or to expand and connect with the next, allowing the table to be manipulated into versatile forms for diverse usage. The bases are made from paper or a nonwoven polyethylene. They pair with a modular tabletop made from sustainable, engineered wood. Sold in sets of six modular tops and two bases. One set makes a Ø240 cm diameter ring, or can be shaped into myriad other configurations.
