Van Doesburg house, Paris
The Dutch artist, designer, critic and author Theo Van Doesburg (1883-1931) was a co-founder of the De Stijl art movement. The Van Doesburg house in a suburb of Paris is the only architectural work of Doesburg. In connection with the 100th anniversary of the De Stijl movement and a recent renovation of the house, the foundation behind the house honored Functionals by purchasing several iconic products - namely: Lloyd table, Lloyd bench and several Wendela chairs.
