If you think there is something familiar about molos cappello table lamp, you have no doubt spent a lot of your time on design products. But now just read on anyway. It's a good story.
The marble base for the cappello comes directly from the hole in the well-known marble base for the Flos Arco floor lamp. The story is that the designer of the cappello, Stephanie Forsythe, during a tour of Flos happens to pass by the machine that drills the hole in the famous lamp. There she catches sight of the cardboard box with the small carved marble sticks ... and then the idea was pretty much born!

Also take a good look at the lampshade. It is a Japanese paper bowl that has had a hole punched for the cord and is turned upside down. The result of this little fusion is an amazing and cozy lamp.
