THORS-DESIGN

The central idea behind THORS-DESIGN is the upclycling of maritime, patinated bulwark or wharf. The back-story began when Carsten Thor, in 2002, purchased 1,500 cubic metres of wharf from the then recently disused Korsør Harbour. It was a bold move for the newly established company. But with talent and innate stubbornness, Carsten Thor succeeded in transforming the old Azobé wood to beautiful furniture, thereby laying the basis for sustainable success.
