Homeoffice

2020 was the year when “work from home” really took off. And it's going to continue. Most have experienced increased productivity, and a majority are happy to save hours in front of the mirror and on transportation. The list of benefits is long - for example:

- More calm for contemplation gives higher productivity
- More peace can provide better well-being
- Better opportunity to plan the working day yourself
- Smaller transport saves time, money and CO2
- Space for more spatial interior design of the company
- The opportunity is attractive for recruitment

"It is the companies' responsibility that the home workplaces comply with the Danish Working Environment Authority's guidelines”

So now that many agreements that working at home is somewhat permanent, companies have a responsibility to ensure that the guidelines for the layout of the workplace are also complied with in the homeoffice.

Some of the guidelines that must be adhered to are: The workplace must suit the employee and the type of work. There must be free space for the employee to swing his legs 180 degrees below the table in a radius of 70 cm. There must be no loose cables to stumble. And the light must be at least 500 lux in the work area on the table.

Normally, there is no requirement for the reverberation time in an office for a person. But if video meetings and telephone conversations is a natural part of the day, it is also important to consider a good acoustic space.

Does that sound like a big mouthful financially? Then, fortunately, there is help to be found in the danish gross salary scheme. If you want to know more, contact:
