Trends & Traditions 2025
Grape’s presence at Trends & Traditions 2025 was a collaboration between Functionals and Grape, aimed especially at raising awareness around the new Functionals collection and their many exciting product launches. A big thank you to Simon van Esch for joining us at the stand - and to Functionals for contributing with so many great new products.
The Ben bench, designed by Kaschkasch for Functionals, sets a new standard for public seating. Its robust construction in powder-coated steel and aluminum combines with refined simplicity – making it ideal for airports, train stations, and commercial interiors, both indoors and out.
Ditch is a sleek waste sorting system in powder-coated steel, designed by Frans de la Haye for modern commercial and public spaces. It’s available with 1-4 compartments and can be equipped with lids and castors if needed. Discreet design - premium quality.
Ossa is a simple, stackable shelving unit in powder-coated steel – no tools required. The characteristic grip holes evoke moving boxes, and its reversible design makes it ideal as a room divider. Ossa can even be used as a bench.
Trends & Traditions 2025 also marked the debut of the new Grape Pumpkin floor lamp and the agile Grape Link lounge series. The floor lamp is based on the Grape Pumpkin medium flat pendant – which can be transformed into a floor lamp and vice versa. Grape Link is based on two leg heights, which can be paired with four tabletop formats in your choice of veneer, linoleum, or cork.
Planets & Pumpkins! It might sound like a new cocktail bar, but in fact, it means that the Grape Pumpkin acoustic pendant now has a companion - the Grape Planets acoustic cloud, designed in a matching style. The central thumbscrew reveals a clever Grape solution: round acoustic panels that can be suspended horizontally with just one wire. It looks beautifully simple – and is at least three times faster to install. In addition to being an effective acoustic absorber on its own, Grape Planets is designed to complement Pumpkin where extra sound absorption is needed. And yes, Planets comes in all 36 Archisonic® Felt colours - including pumpkin orange!
