molo cloud mobiles at major danish company
This was one of the more exciting challenges. Signal Arkitekter had sketched cloud lamps suspended in black rings in the large atrium. The challenge for Grape was to deliver the cloud lamps and, overall, make it all happen. After many hours at the drawing board and testing several concepts, the large suspension rings with internal channels for installations and the suspension itself were constructed. Naturally heavily over-dimensioned.

The molo cloud mobile is designed by Stephanie Forsythe and Todd MacAllen for molo – @studio_molo – represented by Grape in Scandinavia
It is difficult to imagine the scale of this type of installation. But to give an idea: The largest of the cloud pendants in the images are 160 cm in diameter, while the largest of the rings measure an impressive 6 meters.
