Acoustic ceiling panels made from sustainable Archisonic® Felt

A surprising amount of sound-absorbing material is needed to get noise under control in an interior*. If the ceiling surface is not already covered with an effective absorbent, it is usually a good place to begin the battle against noise issues. Acoustic rafts are highly effective here, as they can either cover entire ceilings or be targeted exactly where noise occurs.

* How Much Acoustic Material Is Actually Required

The Danish Building Regulations prescribe that open offices must use 1.1 x the floor area in equivalent absorption area. So if an office is 100 sqm, the required equivalent absorption material is 110 sqm. And if the sound-absorbing materials absorb around 50% of the sound on average, the actual requirement becomes 220 sqm.
