The Kanen/Gille design of the Luftschiff pendant draws clear references to the torpedo-shaped airship Zeppelin. The elongated pendant lamp cast in aluminum seems floating and light in its fine almost invisible wire suspension, and the power is connected with the black wire. This alternation between lightness and weight makes the Luftschiff an almost provocative element in the office, over the counter or at home over the dining table.
