Designed by British designer James Irvine, the Dodici coat stand looks simple and lightweight, but in use, the metal stand proves to be a true heavyweight when it comes to stability. This is surprising, as the twelve hooks appear to be folded out like cardboard. The name of the design, by the way, refers to the number of hooks: "dodici" is Italian for twelve.
